Privacy and advertising

Updated November 5, 2026. This page describes data use on aion2classfinder.com, an independent fan reference.

Local tools and hosting

The class finder does not require an account. Name generation and timer calculations run in your browser. Saved names, timer preferences and advertising choices are stored on your device. Share URLs contain the choices you include in the link. Do not put private information into a share URL.

Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and receives the connection information needed to serve pages, such as an IP address and request URL. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Existing site analytics

The production site uses Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and PVUV to understand page visits and tool interactions. PVUV receives pageview data through its hosted site snippet on clean public page URLs and ordinary campaign-tag URLs; this site does not add PVUV custom events, and share/query URLs are left out of PVUV pageview loading. These services may receive connection and device information and use cookies or similar identifiers. Our tool event code sends fixed event names and predefined choices, rather than names you generate, prompts, order details or free text you enter. Clarity may record page interactions. The advertising choice below does not change these existing analytics services.

See Google's privacy policy, Microsoft's privacy statement and PVUV's site. Browser privacy settings and content blockers can restrict these services.

PVUV preferences

PVUV uses first-party cookies and may store a visitor identifier on this device to measure visits. It runs by default on eligible public pages. You can turn it off or restore it for future page loads here.

This choice controls PVUV only. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and your advertising choice stay as described above.

PVUV is on by default until you save another choice.

Your choice is saved in this browser. Reload any other open pages to apply the change. Turning PVUV off does not erase data already received or identifiers previously stored.

Optional advertising

The homepage offers one 320 × 50 banner supplied by Adsterra. Its advertising code loads only after you choose Allow ads. Before that choice, or after you choose No thanks, the site does not load this advertising code. Your choice is stored locally. If storage is unavailable, advertising stays off.

When allowed, the advertising provider and its partners receive the information needed to deliver and measure ads, which may include your IP address, browser and device information, referring page and cookie or similar identifiers. They may use this information to select ads and measure impressions, clicks and performance. See Adsterra's privacy policy.

You can choose No thanks in the homepage advertising area at any time. The page reloads to stop further advertising loads; this does not erase information already received by a provider or cookies it previously set. You can manage or remove cookies and local site data in your browser settings. Declining advertising does not prevent use of the class finder or its tools.

Official previews and other external links lead to separate websites with their own privacy policies. Clicking an advertisement also leaves this site.
